Nestled in the picturesque Askifou valley, Panorama Askifou offers a serene retreat, perfect for exploring the charms of Midwest Crete. During my stay, I reveled in tranquil hikes through Imbros Gorge and visits to hidden beaches, all conveniently located a short drive away. The friendly family owners guided me to local gems and their warmth added to the cozy atmosphere. The studio with a fireplace exuded a romantic ambiance, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploration. Although the portion sizes at the restaurant were modest, each dish showcased authentic flavors that left a lasting impression. The sweeping views of Askifou plain were simply breathtaking and beckon a return visit. The property boasts a well-maintained outdoor swimming pool, perfect for a refreshing dip amidst the stunning mountain backdrop. The sun-drenched terrace provided a peaceful spot for relaxation, enhancing the overall rejuvenating experience. For a serene getaway surrounded by natural beauty, Panorama Askifou strikes a harmonious balance between comfort and tranquility.
